The Bodhráin is one of Ireland's oldest traditional instruments and is usually played with a small double-ended drumstick called a 'tipper'. The extraordinary journey of this piece, through the hands of numerous craftspeople culminates with the Master Engraver. This hand-sculpted and hand-engraved crystal masterpiece features beautiful detail and an intricate Celtic pattern. This piece showcases the artistry that the Master Engraver has accumulated over many years.  The type of copper wheel engraving used at Waterford is called Intaglio, which appears reversed.

    • This piece is custom made by the hands of a Waterford artist upon your order. It might take him or her up to four months to complete and deliver to you.
