Waterford Master Sculptor American Football Helmet

The House of Waterford will provide the Aer Lingus Classic Coach's Award which will be presented at the end of the game. Where the Naughton Cup Trophy is a perpetual trophy presented to the winning team, the Helmet is presented to the coach of the winning team to keep.

The trophy was designed and hand-crafted at the Waterford factory in Ireland and is a Crystal replica of an American Football helmet.

This Crystal Trophy was designed by Billy Briggs, who captured the true classic shape of the American Football Helmet. The design, sparkle and quality reflect the unique design and craftsmanship of Waterford Crystal.

The piece was mouth-blown and hand-cut using traditional manufacturing techniques. The diamond cutting across the surface of the helmet allows the light to catch it, in order to create the magical sparkle, associated with Waterford.
