Introducing the Marian Aran Throw. Part of the Heritage Collection by Kilkenny Design, this stunning throw combines 100% super soft wool, and traditional Aran patterns with a contemporary fit, exclusively designed by Kilkenny Design. The ultra soft material and beautiful stitching make this the perfect throw for cosy evenings or to dress up your sofa. Every stitch tells a story: combining the diamond trellis stitch and plait cable stitch, this throw represents wealth, success, and good luck.
Each piece showcases a round KD metal logo disc to symbolise the iconic Kilkenny Design Centre windows. The Heritage Collection logo is handwritten by Kilkenny Design's founder Marian O'Gorman, who has supported Irish creativity since 1963.
This piece is named after our Founder and Chairperson, Marian O'Gorman. With early roots in Irish design, Marian began her career at age 16 alongside her late father, Christy Kelleher. Since 1999, Kilkenny Design has been run by Marian and her family and she has established herself as a passionate leader in Irish business and craftsmanship.
